Today the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland begins at 10am, and proceedings will continue until Wednesday 26th. The moderator designate, Rev John Cairns Christie, will take over duties from the current moderator (Rev William Hewitt).

On the Church of Scotland site, there is an opportunity to ‘go live’ and follow proceedings via webcasts and it is anticipated that updates will be available via twitter (generalassembly #ga2010).
