How will our Christian faith survive?

On Tuesday 28th February we start a five week series of evenings to explore what our Christian faith means to us. We hope we will be joined by people from other churches and also by anyone who is searching for meaning in their life. Each evening starts at 7.30pm and we stop in the middle for a cup of tea or coffee.

Christianity is the largest movement our world has ever seen. It continues to grow at an immense pace – especially in Asia (including China), Africa and Latin America. At the same time, Christianity in the West struggles to grow and – perhaps – even to survive. In this course we consider some of the reasons for this and what it might mean for individual Christians, for churches and for Western culture, in a world where alternative beliefs are increasingly on offer.

Week 1 – A Christian Country? Week 2 – A Secular Society? Week 3 – A Beleaguered Church? Week 4 – Competing Creeds? Week 5 – Handing on the Torch

Don’t worry if you can only come to a few evenings, it will be good to meet you.

Messy Church

Here’s glimpse of some of the fun we had at Messy Church in November last year.
Our theme was Christmas and we enjoyed various crafts from making crowns, stars and angels to camel poo and a junk stable as well as a relaxed time of worship and shared food.
We’re having another evening soon – watch this space!
