About

Our church is the ‘wee red standstone’ building situated at the entrance to Cambusnethan Cemetery. It’s a busy place all week, with many things happening in our church organisations. We are also open for the community, for instance the after school care club and MADE4U IN ML2. As a result of fundraising in many innovative ways, we have a newly refurbished kitchen, a new heating system within both the church and the halls and have upgraded our sound system which includes an induction loop. Disabled access and parking too.

On a Sunday we come together as a church family to share with each other what is happening in our lives and to remember that God shares the good times as well as the hard ones. We sing hymns, listen to stoires from the Bible and try to understand what God is saying to us. We offer a cup of tea or coffee after the service. Under 3s can go out to our supervised creche during the service.

Cambusnethan North Church is a congregation of the Church of Scotland, in the Presbytery of Hamilton. For more details, please click on the emblem to visit the Church of Scotland’s official website

The BBC religion website provides an outline summary of the Church of Scotland, on the themes of history, subgroups and schisms, structure, and customs and practices. It’s a good place to get an overview of the Church of Scotland, and is available HERE
