Perhaps the best aspect of the area is Greenhead Moss Nature Reserve, which occupies a large space of ground behind the cemetery adjacent to the church. Its central feature is Perchy Pond, where many swans, ducks and other birds can be found. There are plans to build an ‘Earthship’.
