Messy Church
Messy Church is coming to Cambusnethan North Church on 20th November at 4.30 pm. Fun for all ages.
CHILL, CREATE, CELEBRATE, CHOMP – get messy for Christmas and enjoy all-age family fun: crafts, songs, stories, hot meal – no charge – all children need to be accompanied by an adult. We’ll finish around 6.30.
Christmas Fayre
On Saturday (November 19th) between 11am and 2pm, there will be a Christmas Fayre in the halls of our neighbouring Church, Cambusnethan Old. I’m sure it’ll be a great event! If you’re in the area, why not support them in this fundraising venture …
Hello and Welcome
Sunday Worship
Our congregation normally meets for worship at 11am, and visitors are always very welcome. We enjoy singing hymns from a variety of backgrounds, and on Sundays are very grateful for the musical abilities of our choir. Our Starlights and 11.30 Klub join us for the first part of the service then go out to have fun and learn about God in the halls. Usually the adults stay with us! Our worship is fairly traditional. Our minister preaches two comments rather than one longer sermon. We’re a mixture of ages and backgrounds and beliefs. After the service many stay for a blether over a cup of tea or coffee in the adjecent church hall. During the summer months we worship at 10.30 and join with our neighbours in Cambusnethan Old.
Christmas
From this week onwards, details about forthcoming events and services in the run-up to Advent, Christmas and New Year will be posted here

The Book that changed the world
This year, as Christians, we celebrate 400 years since the King James Bible was first printed. The North Church has decided to show the film ‘The Book that changed the world’ so you have an opportunity to see the film which gives the extraordinary story behind the most extraordinary of books – the King James Bible. Acclaimed actor John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones) leads us back into a darker time to discover this fascinating tale of saints and sinners, power and passion. The greatest translation of the Bible emerged into a world and culture that would never be quite the same again – 7pm Cambusnethan North Church halls on Wednesday 20th October – bring your friends and family – no charge.
Our neighbouring church’s new website
A new website has recently been launched by the congregation of Cambusnethan Old and Morningside Parish Church – well worth a visit!
