Missing Link

Our church prayer group meets on the last Wednesday of every month to pray for matters of concern in our community and the world. Please contact us if you would like us to pray for yourself, someone else, or any other concerns.

A monthly bulletin of prayer concerns is distributed to church members, and online versions of this are available below:

June, July, August 2010 – Please pray for

Medical research giving thanks for all the people who are trying to find cures for diseases and different ways of treating illness

Our Missing link prayer group giving thanks for their faithfulness in prayer and asking that they would be strengthened to continue and have the courage to ask others to join them

Our community in Wishaw as we reflect on the violence which is in our midst and thinking especially of those who have been affected by the murder of Zoe Nelson in any way

MADE4U IN ML2 giving thanks for the opportunities that the former nursery building will open up, asking that the summer activities would attract new faces

Our Boys’ Brigade camp asking for protection for them as they enjoy a week at Auchencruive and giving thanks for the leaders

Our congregation that we would enjoy worshipping with our neighbours and that our leaders would have time to relax away from their responsibilities

People dealing with the aftermath of violence in the world especially Cumbria, Israel, Iraq – those who have lost loved ones as well as ‘professionals’ dealing with forensic evidence, serving in armed forces or listening to heartrending stories. Asking for the strength to go on praying for peace when it seems an unattainable goal in so many places.

Rev Mhorag that she would find ways of staying healthy and take time to listen to God’s challenge and promises

Next meeting in North halls Wed 25th August at 7.30 – your help is needed
