hes in Wishaw on 19th September we are encouraging people to come back to church. Of course we try to do that all the time but it can be hard to walk into a church for the first time or if you have been missing for a while. So hopefully it will make it easier if more people are doing it together. We are delivering leaflets to our parish in Cambusnethan to invite people to a normal service at 11am on 19th. Many churches throughout Britain will be joining in on Sunday 26th (http://www.backtochurch.co.uk/) but we decided to avoid the school holiday weekend.
Our church prayer group (‘Missing Link’) meets on the last Wednesday of the month, and we focus on current matters of concern in our community and the world. If you have photos of the local area, or perhaps even short videos, you might like to add them to the Cambusnethan North Church group on Flickr. Photos don’t need to be of the Church specifically, but could be of Cambusnethan, the Perchy and Greenhead Moss, other areas in Wishaw, and other local Churches and events. Thanks to google street map, it is now possible to see Cambusnethan North Church on photographic maps. It’s a good way to explore the local area too!
